IndyGo On-Call

This project involves professional engineering services for various projects related to Street Design and Bus Stop Renovation/Addition projects Indianapolis on an as-needed basis. The projects consist of bus shelter infrastructure design, ADA analysis & design compliance, development of easements and right-of-entry legal plats and descriptions, NEPA studies and coordination of street design.
For this project, RGI is currently providing design services for the reconstruction and addition of various bus stops through the City of Indianapolis. Several bus stops have been added to provide additional connectivity to IndyGo bus routes. Each stop includes ADA-compliant ramps to allow full access to all bus pads and seating.
As part of RGI's scope, several bus stops are being designed in new locations. Given the parameters of this project, the riders interaction with each stop and their safety must be a high priority, including providing ADA compliant and accessible facilities. In addition, RGI must consider other parameters in the design such as how potential ponding water near a bus stop could impact a rider's experience.
