General Project Description
This project involves the hydrologic and hydraulics analysis of culverts and bridges for the Indiana Department of Transportation’s Hydraulic Engineering group.
Scope of Services
RGI has analyzed approximately 19 bridges for scour analysis using HEC-RAS and 38 culverts for replacement and/or rehabilitation over the course of the contract so far. Pipe rehabilitation includes the use of liners such as high-density polyethylene (HDPE), cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP), and paved inverts. RGI’s water resources team works diligently to stay up to date with any developing design guidance and when unique and challenging situations arise, we work closely with INDOT Hydraulic Engineering to determine a best path forward for the structure.
